Happy St. Patty's Day for all.. what is traditionally a day for what I used to call JV drinkers. They all come out of the woodwork and  get hammered. Alas with my heavy drinking days behind me the appeal of the holiday has certainly lessened.

But let's do some St. Patty's Day trivia!

Well was going to do some movie trivia, but not sure there are many St. Patty's Day set movies.. Some definitely have it as a role player...

This cult classic about two vengeful brothers being chased by maniacal Willem Defoe opens with a St. Pattys day scene.

Another classic, features a Harrison Ford losing his pursers in the St. Patricks Day parade.

Seriously that's it.. I think the Leprechaun movies probably also touched on St. Patty's Day, but I am surprised there was not an ensemble comedy like Valentine's Day about St. Patty's Day, which followed the drunken antics of a whole host of stories sprawling through one major city.. C'mon Netflix make that happen.

Here are some fun facts for St. Patricks day, which celebrates St. Patrick bring Christianity to Ireland..

St. Patrick was not IRISH, but british..

Oh and he's not technically a Saint. at least not officially.

Enjoy the holiday to those of you who are brave and young enough (in age or spirit) to celebrate.
