Mr. Wednesday is a creature of habit, so we are going to continue our trivia theme this week, with the Movies of 2007! So critics go so far as to say it's one of the best year of movies in the century. Maybe it's because I was in college and didn't get to the cinema as much as I do now, but I am not sure about that bold statement.. so let's see..
My favorite TNT movie, ie, it was one TNT all the time, even so much as USA turned it into a TV show with Ryan Phillippe.
An overrated comedy that said Seth Rogen could be a leading man and Katherine Heigel should quit Grey's cause she's gonna be huge in movies......
A remake of Rear Window from a teenager's point of view.. and surprisingly an enjoyable rewatch..
The classic story about a rat that can cook..
Brought back the raunchy high school comedy and provided us with McLovin' and the only time I didn't active hate Michael Cera on screen.
Michael Bay finally went FULL BAY... for this toy franchise..
These films are clearly not what the aforementioned critic was talking about.. but I really don't see the greatest movie year of the 21st century... But I am not as high as most on No Country for Old Men, There will be Blood, and even Gone Baby Gone.. And I guess that is what gives these critics their jollies..
Anyway send the answers here..
Trivia Answers:
Shooter.. just an under rated classic.. well maybe not a classic but it's realllllllll good.
Knocked up - This is one film I never liked or enjoyed, maybe now that I have a kid, I can go back and watch it again and maybe it's funny, but it really never did anything for me.
Distrubia, one of my sneaky favorite movies from this time, usually when you re-make a classic it's a recipe for disaster, but this one work. Can't believe Shia had this and Transformers in the same year.. pretty solid.
Ratatouille - another fantastic Pixar movie..
Superbad -- Now this a comedy I loved the interplay and the banter between Cera and Hill is amazing, you can always till when someone has been writing and tweaking a script for ever.. it just feels different.
Transformers.. Nothing more can be said
