Since Vacations are kinda cancelled this year, ie Traveling is scary. Decided to take a personal day. Getting some side work done, and setting up to dig a trench to start building the moat around the house... No just kidding about that. Digging a trench to run POWER and internet to the garage fix up. Might take tomorrow as well. But that doesn't stop the board.
Mr. Wednesday's Trivia, and in line it should be Movies of 2009! And for a lack of better ideas, here we go.
Never doubt James Cameron, a Blizzard might have slowed down the opening weekend, but this went on to become the biggest Movie of all time.. until this year.
Chris Evans playing a man with powers.... But NOT the ones you think.
Another failed reboot of the Terminator Franchise this time with Christian Bale.
A found footage Sci Fi movie by a quirky South African Director, who has since not be able to capture this one's magic.
A first, Sandra Bullock won an Oscar for this movie AND a Razzie (the opposite oscars) for this movie in 2009! For a bonus, she also had this massively successful Rom Com with Ryan Reynolds. .
In that same Bullock Razzie movie also started Bradley Cooper who launched one of the most successful R-rated comedies of all time.
Man 2009 was a great year in my mind.. not only do we have all of these movies.. there also was some classics, like Up and 17 again... ok one classic..
Enjoy! and if you want to take a guess..
Trivia Answers:
Avatar, still a great movie, I don't care what anyone says..
Push, another solid Evans movie.. which is why he's probably my favorite actor, I just like everything he's in.
This would be Salvation, which also featured Bale's epic rant at the camera man.. or Grip or whatever...
District 9
The Blind Side (which the subject of the movie hates) and All about Steve (Which I am sure everyone involved now hates).. Bonus - The Proposal!
Bradley Cooper also starred in all about steve as well as the Hangover, which was his conversation to leading man from the bad guy duesh or jock side kick.. and I think it's worked out pretty well for him..
