This weekend we got our Christmas tree up and hung the front porch lights. That means it’s the CHRISTMAS SEASON!!!
I am bursting with excitement about the holiday season. Thanksgiving went great and all the food was tasty. Bond was a little disappointing. Maybe it was all the food on my belly. There were some magnificent scenes, but was long and overly complicated. Watched some other good movies over the break as well. Might go into those later.
For now, just wanted to share something about Virgil Abloh, who recently passed. I love his story and everything he accomplished. It really sucks when we lose talented and creative people at such a young age. Ya, 40 is young. He had so much more to offer.
Wanted to share a few quotes of his.
I’m an optimist.. that optimism has been my strength and device, allowing me to exist in spaces like fashion and culture.
Don’t be afraid to take your original idea and throw it away. Your freedom lies in that exact act.
I’ve always been a believer that it’s better to be well-versed in many things than just one.
Life is so short you can’t waste even a day subscribing to what someone things you can do versus knowing what you can do.
