I keep saying it, but where the heck does the time go.. I mean it seems like just yesterday it was the middle of the summer, now we are closing in on Thanksgiving!  Madness I tell you.

Had to sit out last nights soccer game, as like my fantasy team I am completely on the IR now. And thought I would have a home movie premiere, watched Snake Eyes. Ya it was really bad. Maybe I am getting older, but this new or not new Jason Bourne inspired hand held CLOSE UP camera work is just terrible to me. I guess I see the appeal of trying to put the viewer RIGHT in on the action, but it usually leads to a nauseating experience. Like fine wine, I think action needs to be able to breath and open up. Close up intimate shots are great to highlight a moment or punctuate a scene, but all the time, you lose a sense of the stakes and what's going on. At least it didn't have a massive CGI battle at the end.. just a terrible CGI Hyundai commercial. No serious ever car in the big chase was a Hyundai, and they were on a car transport carrying.. Hyundais.. Save yourself the time and skip this one and watch Warrior on HBO Max - 1000 times better action.
