The All Hallow's Eve Fright Fest NIGHT DAY 2

Scream!

First off there are certain movies that just stick with, for some reason the entire Scream series is like that for me. I can remember not being able to finish it the first time through because I was too scared. And then when Jenn asked me about the other ones, I was easily able to rattle off the killers and their motivations for all three. That being said I honestly struggled to watch this one without thinking about Scary Movie the entire time. Even dropping in lines, like Kazaam! during the movie. But regardless, it's still a fantastic time capsule of late nineties. Lillard still steals the show, and Neve's over acting is still just fantastic. I will say I thought there were more rules.

Either way still a solid movie, and a really important one. I think it save the genre for sure and also allowed us to really make fun of horror movies while still being able to be scary.

Oh and for the next challenge -- since nothing really good comes out.. Instead of No Shave November, it's NO MOVIE NOVEMBER.. which some people might think that's not that hard.. but I watch ALOT of movies.. about 200 last year.. or about 15 a month, so this will be tough!
