Thursday Thursday!!
Usually a time to discuss some sports.. But this go me thinking bout how when I was growing up there were quality sports movies for kids. I mean Little Giants, Mighty Ducks, SANDLOT! etc.
I understand the studio's reasoning for not making them, they usually cost a decent amount of money, usually have ZERO foreign BO potential etc. These are the same issues that kept my Rom Com down as well. But thank god for streaming services and they have rescued the genre! So why haven't they done the same for kids sports movies???
I mean who wouldn't watch one of those on Netflix about every few months. I know I would.. And I'm not talking remakes. I am talking fun scrappy underdogs, coming together to beat the team dressed in black..
Here are some random ideas from the internet.. and my head..
