Rough night in the Paullin house hold, our little guy, Hurls, the original little guy. Someone who has been with the wife for well before me, is currently at the Vet, hooked up and hoping to pass some type of blockage. Fingers crossed for no surgery, but the Hurls is tough, so hopefully he will pull through.

In other new the Hornets made the SPLASHY pick in the NBA draft, of LaMelo "don't judge me based on my moronic father" Ball.. He clearly could be a star, or he could be a product of manipulative dominated father who put in on teams specifically driven to generate stats for his son, while masking or glossing over SEVERE deficiencies in his game. IE he takes 7 threes a game and makes 25 percent of them. Or is he a creative passer or just a flashy reckless one who is just highlight hunting. Time will tell.. but I am not really on the Ball Train.

Also picked up the ACC Freshman of the Year, in Vernon Carey, in the second round. So he was a top 5 recruit coming out of high school, dominated in the ACC for Duke, but because of the current make up fo the NBA, it's assumed he can't play. It's probably the history of guys like Jahlil Okafor etc. of traditional centers just crashing out in the pros, but there seems to be some potential here for a decent player. But again I am not a NBA scout or really know much, but when Coach K says he can pick and pop and is farther along offensively then Wendell Carter who went top 10, I think we might have gotten something.
