A real Karen / Kyle of a friend thought it would be funny to send me what could only be described as Cristiano "slurp" post this morning.. and naturally I over acted with expected Ronnie Vitrol.. But it also got me thinking of an outstanding cross sports comp..

Cristiano Ronaldo is the Lebron James of soccer, or vis-versa.

Based off their longevity and totality of their careers they will go down as one the greatest of all time.

They both embraced modern science and spend millions taking care of their bodies.

Completely dominate physical specimens who also had a unique understanding and vision of the game.

They both have re-invented there games.

At the beginning they were outstanding athletes who flew around and just made things happen.

Then Ronnie evolved into a true number 9 with unreal movement in the box and understanding of the game, while Lebron 2.0 (stealing this from Simmons) was the queen on the chess board.

They both had moderate success at the first spot in their careers, but reached another stratosphere when they joined a super team (Miami and Real Madrid)

Even this season Lebron crashed out in the first round of the playoffs, while Ronnie's team lost the league for this first time in NINE years..
