Sports are back! Well they are back-ish. Atleast back in our lives and on the news again. Which is a good thing to be distracted in these times. Some random thoughts..

One. With 500 mil and 10 years Pat Mahomes is doing prettttaaayyy well. There has been a talk show question floating around about WHO else in sports would you make that kind of commitment too. Their are a few you would think about in US sports, Giannis and Zion in basketball, possibly Deshaun Watson.. etc. But there is also one that didn't make most of these lists because he plays European Soccer..

Kylian Mbappé

He's only 21, so you still have tons of prime years. He is a brand, he's set numerous records. Was the first teenager to score in a World Cup Final since Pele. In his professional career, he's scored 121 goals in 191 games.. Mostly as a TEENAGER.. Arguably one of the top 10 players in the world and will only get better. This would be a no brainer. And with no real salary cap, I have a feeling his next deal will be ridiculous. On the table from his current club he has a 52 million a year deal. So it's more like when and if the length of the deal will be enough to cross half a billion. As Messi current contract which runs out next year is paying him around 80 million a year!

Oh and to Max Kellerman who said Mahomes is the best at any sport.. I believe he was saying that he's better at his sport than anyone else is at there's respectively. And that is just ridiculous. Messi is a transcendent and still better that much better than everyone else at his sport.. but I don't want to go down that road.

Two.. Well I guess I didn't have a two.. But Go Pats!!! Gonna order my Cam Newton 1 jersey shortly....
