It's always better to cool off a bit before just wilding posting so I am glad I had some time to think about this whole situation with Cam. (I refer to him by one name like I know him.. ) Recently he was quoted in saying that he got a texted that from the Panthers that they were going to trade him or look to release him and didn't even give him a call. Naturally this pissed a lot of people off. Of course now, the other side of the story is coming out from NFL insider Ian Rapoport that it wasn't like that. However after listening to both sides, I still don't think the Panthers handled this situation very well.
Rapoport claims that the Panthers called several teams trying to trade Cam and were in discussions with his agent about moving on, they were clear that they wanted something different and were looking at other options at QB. So Cam shouldn't have been blindsided or didn't know this was coming. However, I don't think THAT is what Cam was pissed about or even talking about. He understands it's a business and if they made a decision to move that's all well and good. However his biggest gripe on the interview I saw is that when they actually made the decision, they didn't pick up the phone to call him. If you know something is coming that is fine, and he could have. But once you make the that MASSIVE decision FINAL, you need to make the difficult call and that is what he was upset about it.
However you can also look back I am sure in Rapo's tweets and find the ones where Rhule and different people said Cam was their guy or they were excited about working with Cam, if he's healthy. Which they never even gave him a shot to see if he was.
Also you can try and defend the Panthers, but this is the fourth or fifth time they have cut ties POORLY with a franchise defining player. I'd say their is kinda of a pattern..
On a happier note - TRIVIA Answers.
Avatar, still a great movie, I don't care what anyone says..
Push, another solid Evans movie.. which is why he's probably my favorite actor, I just like everything he's in.
This would be Salvation, which also featured Bale's epic rant at the camera man.. or Grip or whatever...
District 9
The Blind Side (which the subject of the movie hates) and All about Steve (Which I am sure everyone involved now hates).. Bonus - The Proposal!
Bradley Cooper also starred in all about steve as well as the Hangover, which was his conversation to leading man from the bad guy duesh or jock side kick.. and I think it's worked out pretty well for him..
