I love it when something STICKS the landing.. While the Brooklyn 99 final season has been un-even and sometimes not great, the finale was anything but that and pretty much everything I wanted. They always had the difficult task of being a comedy about police officers in a world where there is nothing funny about this issues facing policing. So it was always an uphill battle.

However the finale was great.. and all I will say, was it was the heist to end all HEISTS..

Teddy Lasso is reallllyyy leaning into the Empire Strikes Back analogy for this season.. as the Beard episode got alittle wild. but anytime you can get a Thierry Henry cameo you gotsa to make the most out of it.

Also watched Malignant, which is a fitting title after watching it. And it's great to see a major studio just give money to talented director and let him go wild.. This is not your typical third act horror movie, and it's fun and also kinda of like a genre bender.. I felt like I was watching a early 00s movie at times. A fun watch.. with a great twist, although you can kinda see it coming.
