Oh man.. what a weekend.. I was on a boat!! But that's not really the big news for me. In a deal I thought was going to happen mid way through training camp when they realized that Stidham was not ready, the Pats were going to sign Cam Newton. But it happened on SUNDAY!!!!!

So let me take a moment, I am with no apologies a MASSIVE Cam fan, their is a drunk rambling of me professing my love for Cam floating around on social media, so if you see me rooting for the Pats this year.. I am sorry but I am not a bandwagon fan, but just a die hard Cam fan.

Yea, I was lookin' for a new team, and since the Panthers have basically said this season we are going 5-11 at best (.. this is not based just on Cam, but the fact that they lost like 65% of the total snaps last year... Meaning the people who played 65 percent of all the game last season at all the positions are gone. For ref. the next highest was like like 52.. )  And this is a one year deal, I am have no problem rooting for the Pats on a the Cam F' you tour..

The deal makes sense.. Cam when healthy still can be ridiculously good. WHY not take a chance on that upside.. He's only 31, Steve Young wasn't a even a starter at 31.. Taysom Hill is only 15 months younger and he's the QB of the future in NOLa... So we will see, but I believe in Cam, and honestly I think it was a fluke-y foot injury last year that messed him up.. So if he's healthy I think we are in for a Randy Moss like F-U season... he has weapons, the line will be decent I guess, plus he has that D that won games last season on it's own...
