Good weekend.. relaxing. Now it's back to the grind...

Had some quality pool time this weekend and that was nice.. Thanks Hassell family..

Watched a bunch of soccer.. I love a good international tourney.. just makes everything more interesting.

‍

But some scary scenes over the weekend as well. A player collapsed on the field, they nearly lost him. Had to be de-fibed and given CPR. They were not sure how close they were to losing him. It really makes you think, that a 29 year old professional athlete could just collapse like is scary. It makes you think about how fragile we all are.

Watched some movies this weekend...

Infinte... was terrible.. I see why they dumped it in on Paramount Plus. Wahlberg is a solid actor, but he doesn't have the voice to do voice overs.. they were terrible. So was the script, it just clunk-a-ly moves direct from one long winded explanation or voice-over to a decent action scene. Which in all fairness does make the movie so what enjoyable, that and laughing at just how corny everything in the movie sounds..

In The Height.. was solid and fun. Good summer movie, could feel the heat it seems, a bit long, and seems like he just recycles the same beats for all his music, but the lyrics are fantastic.

Awake, another solid Netflix action-er pretty good..
