Well I did it! Finished 31 movies in 31 days! I think the hardest part was watching on every day. I can say I have watched 30 plus movies in a month, but that is usually with a massive 4 or 5 movie day on a lazy Sunday or something. So the challenge of watching stuff every day, was tricky.

Some initial thoughts..

I wish I would have selected more movies that I hadn't seen. The challenge details I started with featured a few two many pick your favorite of this.. etc. So next year or the next time I decide to do this I am a going to maybe do ALL movies I haven't seen and figure out some new fun categories.

Would like to do a tribute to movie theaters and try and got to the movie theater for like 15 days straight or something.. and see 15 different movies all in the theater.. maybe when Ox is older we can do that one.

It was great to see movies that I really hadn't thought about in a while, also to see movies that aren't plastered all over Netflix or Prime.

Pleasant Surprises:

Great for two different reasons, but still so enjoyable and two movies I NEVER would have watched with the challenge.

LVM - Least Valuable Movie - or the toughest watch:

Dreamgirls. I am up and down on musicals, and knew this was going to be a tough one. But this movie just didn't do it for me. I wanted more Motown and less Broadway. And I was never really sure who the protagonist was in the story as well. Either way it was a difficult watch.

Favorite Watch of the Challenge:

I thought I would have one, but I didn't I just really enjoyed the whole process. Certain movies still rank real high on my favorites list, seeing Aliens, Creed, and Toy Story 3 are just great.
