Massive game this weekend for Charlotte FC, playing our rivals ATL United. Should be a wonderful atmosphere and hopefully we get a result.

Two movies opening this weekend have me pretty excited. No streamers here, just in the theaters.

While I enjoyed the mindless fun of Sonic, Sonic 2 is not one of those movies, but it’s also coming out this weekend.

‍

First is Ambulance, a cross of Speed and Heat from the Bad Boys director Michael Bay. Yea so expect the most lush color palette ever, non-stop action, slo-mo, drone shots, and everything else a 14-year-old me would LOVE.

Next is Everything Everywhere All at Once from the Daniels (two guys? named Daniel). It is getting a wide release this weekend. Which makes me happy because, one, it’s supposed to be awesome and two, it’s great to see funky movies can still be shown in theaters.

Check the synopsis.. When an inter dimensional rupture unravels reality, an unlikely hero must channel her newfound powers to fight bizarre and bewildering dangers from the multiverse as the fate of the world hangs in the balance. There is a hot dog fingers fight, google-y eyes, and more. Can’t wait.

There is not a lot on the streamers, the first episode of Tokyo Vice is out on HBO Max, which is a fish out of water reporter story who gets in with the yakuza.
