Does it Hold up?

Besides the (spoiler) devil rape scene, which is a bit trippy, not the best make up, and totally wrong.. the rest does hold up pretty well.

Overall Rating:

Good..

Weird Comedy or Something New:

It's not comedy, but the whole Satan rape was just weird.. but also super creepy. So it served it's purpose.. I am assuming they probably tried to make a baby with eyes and clove and hoofs, but it looked terrible, so they did not show it?

Random Thoughts:

Fantastic apartment and I loved her decorating choices..

Their was the repetition of his two plays and a few TV commercials like 4 or 5 times in the beginning of the movie.

A few times they showed her eating nearly raw meat, but then kinda dropped that. Did little Nicky not need the raw meat anymore?

Honestly didn't have a lot of thoughts as I was watching this one, my mind was spent from work and it was it nice to just escape into late 60s New York.

But in the end a Mother's love.. is a powerful thing.

My First Time:

It was a well craft movie that kept me enthralled through out. I will confess I was waiting for an AH-HA moment or some big reveal, but they were pretty clear to what happened. I guess maybe you could say they were not really witches, but just a group of Satan Worshippers, but that is more semantics. I felt her Mia Farrow's performance was understated and did a great job of showing her slow descent into madness. But best horror movie of all time? Bit of a stretch.

Ohh I did wish we got some closure on what happened to Terry? The first girl living with the older couple. Forgive me for being crass, but did she not do it for Satan?
