Does it Hold up?
Yea, all the effects are still great.. sometimes him running in the mech suit looks weird.
Overall Rating:
Time Travel - Time Loop Movies are my favorite.
Weird Comedy or Something New:
Something new.. not much comedy, or unintentional comedy.
But one thing I did notice, if he is supposed to be this hot shot media guy and looked to be doing coverage on EVERY network, I find it REALLY hard to believe that one watched? Or were are all the smart phones? Or does being on a FOB preclude you from having your own personal device.
Random Thoughts:
Opening credits and TV clips seem to be like a serious version of the Starship Troopers propaganda ones..
I forgot how much fun the first hour or so of this movie is, also how once you start to progress in the loops, you really don't know if Cruise as been there before, or this first time for him.
Emily Blunt is f--king great in this movie.
I didn't mind the commercials.. they were limited and not all the same
Time Loop movies are tough to complete, because the last loop is always tricky especially in this one. So I am not a 100 percent sure the ending works, and where they are planning on going for a sequel.
