Does it Hold up?

For the most part, a few shots don't look great. The use of millions of dollars and all the smoking are kinda weird

Overall Rating:

I love it.

Weird Comedy or Something New:

I never noticed all of the smoking.. everything is lighting up.. all the time.. even in space ships.. Not sure if that really is the safest thing.

I have no idea how the schematics or blueprints are laid our or work, because they all looked like a mess. Nothing made sense and was all jumble together.. and she was talking about putting barricades about an inch from one another..

Random Thoughts:

Decided on the extended edition, it's the one I usually watch. It basically dives more into Ripley's maternal side and talks about her daughter and fleshes out her and Newt's relationship.

Weird collars.. that's all future fashion has changed..

The Alien ship on LV426 actually does look like the collector ship from Prometheus

The dropship flying doesn't look great at all. But you know what does... THE POWER LOADER.. why don't we have these.. They are awesome!!!!

They mention millions of dollars with the value of something... which seems low.. REALLY low.. however one guy does say adjusted.. so maybe they have adjust the currency leave so that a million is really a trillion or something like that.

Cameron does this, and I love it but all of the little moments through out the movie.. ALWAYS come back and play a part in the third act finale... Power loader.. using the guns, the tracker.. etc..

The 75 second elevator ride down.. is great.. it's a fantastic piece of cinema.

My First Time:

Why's this my favorite child hood movie..

Because it was the first time I can remember REALLY feeling something for a movie, the adrenaline of the third act and the suspense is terrifying and awesome. I was hooked after that.. and I have to have all the toys.. Now watching as an adult I love catching all of the jokes and throw away quotes that I missed and clearly went over my head.

Don't worry I think I was was at least 10 or 11 when I watched it.. although still in Elementary school..
